Another One For The Win Column

Just returned from my son's baseball game. They are now 10-0. It was a great game. It started out bad for our team but they turned it around in the 3rd inning. Spencer hit 2 home runs in the game which resulted in 5 RBI's. He also hit a single and a double. The next game is on Saturday night and should be a good one.

Still Undefeated

Just got back from my son's baseball game today. They are still undefeated and are 9-0. There are two more games in this season and then Spencer plays on a tournament team. He was invited to join the tournament team because he is a big hitter. I am not a big baseball fan but watching little league is a lot of fun. Especially when it is your own kid playing it.

Wakeboarding Looks Fun

Well my son finished his wakeboarding camp. He progressed very well. By the end of the camp he was riding switch comfortably, doing surface 180's, jumping one wake, almost clearing a wake to wake jump, and doing a couple air 180's. He told me he plans to practice a lot so he can do some bigger jumps and tricks.

Since he had so much fun we are considering signing him up for another camp. But it will have to wait until we get back from snowboard camp at Mt Hood in a few weeks.

Baseball and Wakeboarding Updates

I am not being very diligent on keeping this blog updated. I will try to do better.

Well today was my son's first day at Wakeboard camp. He said he had a great time. He was mostly practicing his jumps. Tomorrow he indicated he will work on his wake to wake jumps. Hopefully the instructors can take a couple pictures so I can post them. There is no good place for me to stand so I can see them while they are out there.

Also, my son played baseball today. His team is currently 7-0 and in first place. He hit a triple, couple doubles, and a single today. The score was 18 to 12 for his team. This weekend is their league's all-star event so that should be interesting to watch. He has already been asked to join a tournament team that starts next month. It is the same team he was on last year.

Well that is it for now. I will try to update the blog site more frequently.

Snowboard Camp All Set

Well my son and I are all registered for snowboard camp. Should be a great time as long as I don't kill myself. Should be interesting to be snowboarding in the summer, and get a tan at the same time:-)

Wakeboarding Fun

My son, Spencer, and I went wakeboarding this week. It was a lot of fun. Spencer picked it up incredibly fast. He was trying to jump the wake and do surface 180's by the end of the 1 hour we were out there. He will be attending a wakeboarding camp offered through the Wakeboard Clinic in a couple weeks. I am sure within the week long camp he will be doing some cool tricks.

In the meantime we will be going out on the jetski so he can get some more practice.
